What colour brake calipers?

Nothing says "I'm running an OEM brake setup" like a set of red painted callipers.

Paint them silver so they look like fresh OEM callipers. That will make the car look new and clean.

Painting them red is Barry. Don't be a Barry.

Funny you say that...

Looks fantastic on a black car :D

Thinking of doing mine soon. Is it hard to remove them as an absolute novice?

I've got a black z4 with yellow interior so thinking yellow to match but it might be a bit garish.

I think you should only have brightly coloured calipers if they are alloy/billet proper stoppers. If you have cast iron, you shouldnt be drawing attention to them, like the blue ones up the page.

Mine came out of the factory Red...

in which case the finish on them is probably much better than you could have mustered with a pot of halfords caliper paint and a dry sunday afternoon.
There was probably a design team that made that decision at the manufacturer so that the car appealed to buyers and looked a certain way.

If it is supposed to look like that then fair enough but people who paint boring looking single pots in red tend to do a crap job and it looks suitably crap.
