A lake!
I think I've finally managed to settle on getting myself a Lian Li PC-A71, but after all the pondering I've done over which case to get, I'm now left with the dilemma of case colour. So, silver or black?

My current PC-61b is black, and all my hi-fi stuff is black, but it's getting a bit much and I fancy a change even though I think the black looks good.

I think I've just found my answer there, but what do you all think? Go for the change? Or stick with the tried and tested?

Id go with black, ive always thought that silver cases have a "not quite finished look", but thats maybe just me.

I've never quite liked the look of the silver cases, but in my uni room it's starting to look quite bleak - black keyboard+mouse, black printer, black monitor and black case - with a mostly black laptop and black Eee PC.

I'd go silver if you want to lighten up a room, black otherwise :-)

Silver !!!
Or an anodised colour other than black.

I may be getting old but every time I see black PC's it reminds me of phase of 1980's black ash furniture.

I like the silver ones.

And was personally torn over a black TJ-07 with window, or the silver one.

Ended up going for the black one largely on the basis that when I looked around at components to fit in the drive bays. It seems there are miles more black ones then there are silver.

And black drives in a silver case just looks naff.

I'm thinking silver, despite all your nay-saying. :p I have a black drive at the moment, but the case has a door and it's IDE so will be being upgraded towards the end of the year.

Although, thinking about it again... I do like black.

I don't think I'm ever going to decide! :o
