What colour is the Trainer?

I'm really confused now.

It was grey/teal this morning.

Tonight white/pink, continue to read thread scroll back to top and it's grey/teal again and finally it faded back to pink/white as I stated at it

This has gone viral on social media it seems.

Strangely, when I first saw that photo yesterday I saw pink and white. Right now though it's grey and teal? Surely the pic changes?

I guess the kids these days are too young to remember the original dress meme, so history had to repeat itself.

my mind must be screwed up, the trainer has been grey and teal every time i've looked at it and every re-post. and in that image all 3 are blue and black, even the "white and gold" one.

guess i'm pretty certain, once i've made my mind up as to what colour it is.

I see blue and gold on the first two then blue and black on the right hand one.

IIRC most people either see blue/black or white/gold

The question is what colour are those trainers, not what colour do you see on your screen.

Using photoshop colour drop tool is meaningless.

Using a colour dropper the pink is entirely grey to as far as I saw

That's exactly what I mean when I said it is meaningless, because of the white balance.

It would be akin like a white person stand in front of a red Neon light and I ask you what colour is this person's skin. By that, I mean this person's skin colour, not the colour in this photo. Just like the question is what colour are the trainers, in real life, not as they appear in that moment in time.

Or holding a white piece of paper under a UV light, what colour is that piece of paper?

The paper is still white no matter what colour light you are shinning on it. A light doesn't change the colour of an object.
