I must admit I thought mine would be annoying to keep clean but even after a 500 mile blast through wales and the rest of the car getting covered in salt and grime and mud, the wheels stayed relatively clean. Certainly were no more difficult to return back to "spotless" than silver or "Normal" wheels

White, provided you polish and wax them its not 'that hard' to keep them clean, you just need to keep ontop of the cleaning and not let dirt build up for too long.

What's the best paint, primer and lacquer to use?

Just used grey metal primer / white wheel paint from 'big car shop' seemed to work well enough.

Japanese use small front plate's though. :S Are you saying that you are allowed the shape of the original countrys reg plate?

If the car was constructed in such a way that you can't fit a UK standard car plate, you may use a motorcycle front plate (small one), or a motorcycle rear plate (imported new Evo).

I think now it's had a UK plate holder fitted it's too late.
