What colour should i go with TJ07

Should look quite classy.
Maybe you could do some of the internals in the same blue?

It's cost me £100 to have mine powdercoated, and that's including delivery back and forth to.

That blue looks really nice mate, make sure you post some pics up here once you get it back.

I should get mine back next week hopefully, I'm just waiting on a custom mobo tray to arrive first though, as I got one of the new TJ07's that have that nasty mobo tray with the excessively large hole cut out for dual CPU mobos, the new tray looks 1000 times better I must say.

Yeah defo wingnut, tbh i've decided not to water cool at this stage despite having most of the kit. I dont really have the time to sit and figure out and fit the loop. I'm going to wait until the summer and have it as a summer project, i want to do it properly and make it all look really tidy and neat + I need to do much much more research, as they say: Unless you feel confident in doing it.... DONT lol!

But yeah will defo have a blue water loop.... think i'm going to go with a Blue and white theme as every seems to do red and black!

Oh and just to make you jelous wingnut.... i got the TJ07 case for...... £60 almost mind condition!!!! hehe

£60 :eek: My ft01 cost over double that and my rad has to sit externally :(

lucky bugger, lol. Will be an amazing build no matter what you put in it to be honest.

Lol yeah came out of the blue tbh!

got an i7, rampage extreme, 6GB DDR3 GT dom's 1866Mhz and a 5050 going in it. Gona wait until the new NIVIDA cards come out b4 i buy a beasty GFX card.

Nah mate, £100 for internals only, shipping the case cost me £18 each way as I live in the North East of Scotland, and the case was sent to Wales.

Also I'm having 2 different colors done inside, and the guy get's charged a minimum rate of £40 for coating.

I'm happy enough with the cost, the guy is also doing a few other things for me as well at the same time, like fitting a fillport, quad and double rad stands in the bottom, and mounting holes for my Multioption res.

All I really need to do now is wait for the Rampage III Extreme to get released, as my UD5 is just going to look stupid with the red and black color scheme of my case!!

I was looking at a video online last night of the RIIIE and I must say it looks amazing!

Much better than the RIIE!

Ah nice, when is the R3 coming out, only i am going to buy the rampage 2 extreme next week
 
March they recon, to tie in with the release of the Gulftown processors.

Or at least this is what they said in the video I watched.

If I were you I'd wait for these to come out, it's not that long to wait really, and the have some really nice features to.

The main one I thought was pretty cool is the fact that the BIOS can be flashed without having anything installed on the mobo, no CPU, RAM etc etc, all you do is connect the mobo to the PSU, stick or USB pen drive into the machine with the BIOS ROM on it, and then press a button on the mobo.

This feature is great for when new processors get released on new steppings that require a BIOS flash to work.

Also they can be o/ced via bluetooth devices like mobile phones, not something that I'd use personally but it's a nice little feature.
 
Yeah i wouldn't mind good old chrome haha!

I'm going to spray the inside myself after speaking to a few people, i've got a spare sheet metal that is the same as the case, going to spray that in my garage and see how that comes out.

However i know somebody who will spray the outter case a metalic blue for me, so i am tempted to go with that rather than the plastic looking powder coat? what do you think?
 
Total change of plan!

I am now going to do sumin completely differentish

Right case will now be powder coated White, the mesh will of course remain black. I will have purple neons with white light in side. The case will have a series off white fin fans with the bottom mesh having LED purple lights positioned to light up the mesh in a cool way.

which means i will prob have to go with White tubing for water cooling.

What do you think?
