What computer upgrade has made you go WOW?

I remember back in the old days of OcuK at Fenton they did Slot A Athlon 750mhz overclocked to 850mhz. This was a jump from my old Athlon 450 and when i got it with my P6 Juno tower (anyone remember them?) i was astonished at the speed.

Mobile internet dongles.

It still amazes me that I can post - as I am now - sat in a layby whilst on my break in the middle of rural leicestershire.

A pity that often you get no signal in large citys though.... Hmmm

Other than that, changing my 8800 GTS320 for a GTX 260 and seeing the default gfx settings in FSX jump to Max !

Upgrading from a 15" monitor to my Dell 2007WFP.
Going from a NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX440 to a NVIDIA GeForce 7900GS.
Going from a Pentium II 350MHz to a Pentium 4 2.4GHz.
Going from a Pentium 4 2.4GHz to a Core 2 Duo E4500.

Going from a slightly upgraded A1200 to an 8mb p75 overclocked to a p100 - I used to do a lot of messing round in Imagine 3d back then and the difference was just phenomenal.

Adding a 3dfx card alongside my Matrox Mystique, the Mystique wasn't exactly a slouch but the 3dfx just took it to a whole new level.

Windows 7 on an Intel SSD - post to booted in ~20s, haven't seen a pc boot that fast since DOS 6.22 :D.

going from 2d to 3d with 3dvision - it has blown me away. Even more than the change from software to hardware accelerated graphics.

Just went from a 2Ghz dual core, 5400prm hard disk, 256mb graphics, 2Gb ram.
To what I have now which is 965Be, 4gb ram, sold state + 1Tb F1, and a 5870

The SSD probably made the biggest difference coming from a laptop drive though

Going from a 1.1ghz Amd chip with 256mb of ram and a 20gb hard drive to a 1.6ghz mobile dual core with 2gb ram and a new 80gb hard drive. Made me go wow. As did the jump from a overclocked p4 at 3.8ghz to a 2.66ghz i7.

466Mhz machine to my AMD 1800+
256mb RAM to 768mb RAM
ATi 9000 to ATi 9700 Pro

Basically nothing new. Even though I upgrade and really love the increase, I just cant find the wow factor anymore. Well...not for a while...
