What cooking equipment are you hoping you get for Christmas

Some more stainless mixing bowls would always be welcome. And a new slotted wooden spatula - perfect for turning things in nonstick pans - as my trusty old one split at the weekend.

Why not start a food blog. Then you can try your hand at food writing and you never know, it may get picked up for a book deal.

I hear that Santa may have a 8L Kuhn Rikon pressure cooker and Modernist Cuisine at home cookbook for me (the new reprint that should have caught most of the errors/ambiguities).

Already have a Romertopf from the in laws this year (early Xmas part 1 this weekend in Germany - the Xmas market there was just awesome, no wonder they are trying to copy it in the in the UK).

Well my bro got me a cookworks espresso coffee machine with 3 year extended warranty. I had a good look around the web and this seems to be one of the better ones below 50 quid. Was gona get a senso one but it didn't do cappacinos which is main reason i wanted one and would probably like lattes as well.

It was bought as a xmas pressie for me so hes keeping it till xmas, i guess i could have had it but i wana open somit on xmas day thats nice as been too long since ive actually had somit nice wrapped up for christmas.

Just hope its as little maintenance as i think it will be as im one lazy soab lol.

Need to get a new mug or two tho as the ones i have are probably too large which is a shame. Then i gotta figure which coffee to buy at asda after xmas to try it with.
