I thought on the basis of the rather awesome random photo thread it would be cool to have a random Fact thread.
The thread idea is that every post has one cool fact that you have come across today, preferably with a link to the source and a picture if you’re feeling like it.
I’ll start with one that was new to me Today, though I suspect that most of you already know it.
