That is normally a sign the memory is going bad on the gpu

if that's the case, why might it be on just one monitor? it's never on the other 2

GPU memory. I'd say that with 99% certainty

It's unlikely to GPU memory. You usually get bars down the screen.

Had a 5850 that died shortly after getting vertical lines
