This is the spec im on at the moment.
Hiper Type-R II 770w
Antec 900 Version 2
Asus P5KR
Intel Q6600.
Corsair XMS 4GB Kit 800Mhz
XFX 5850
Now I need a CPU cooling solution as at the moment im using the stock one and with the q6600 at around 3.4ghz it gets a bit toastey so I have to downclock quite a bit, I want to spend up and around £55 and I want it to be i7 compatible so when I move on I wont need a new cooler.
I understand the Thermalright Venomous X and the Prolimatech Megahalems Rev B are good options which are both £44.99
Also is it right you need 120mm fans to afix to either of these? if so which ones do I go for.. I don't want it to be massively noisey but at the same time my system isnt exactly silent.
Also at work the shop guys want me to buy an "Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme Rev. 2" at 29.99 though this isn't on OcUK so unsure if this is any good.
Any advice and suggestions greatfully accepted.
