What CPU? I still can't decide between them all

if he wants HT then i7 860, if you dont mind not having HT then i5 750

both will clock to 4-4.5 ghz with the right cooling
 
2 x 8x lanes im afraid, 16 total but having said that 2 x 5870's will only see a 2-4% drop over a x58 rig wiht 2 x16.

Its hard to saturate it
 
Well I am still undecided LOL

I may just go for the single graphic card option too. Which means I wil continue to use my Sapphire Toxic 4870 and upgrade that next year, which would mean a 650w PSU is all that is required I guess.
