What CPU temp is too high?

Yeah the 4770K Sucks in terms of temps if you get one (Like most of them) With dodgy thermal compound. Delidding is an option but could be costly if you do it wrong but that's the chance you take I suppose.

The K is an overclocking chip, that's the point of it. Keep the temps under control and you can get almost 30% overclock if you have a good one.

yh K is an unlocked cpu multiplier

non K chips are locked
