Hi all,

What do I need for a triple monitor setup?

Eyefinity graphics card and monitors with a DisplayPort connection?

Thanks

Orcvader, I assume that means Nvidia still havent made it so you can use the HDMI port at the same time as the DVI's then? I assumed they would have put the extra headers on by now :(

Nvidia Surround Technology - System Requirements

Looks like the main setups are 2-way & 3-way SLI using DVI connectors

Only option it lists using HDMI is

GeForce GTX 295 (boards with 2 DVI and 1 HDMI connectors)

Note: This is only supported in Surround (2D) or using 3D Vision Surround with projectors only, it is not supported with 3D Vision Surround with 3D LCDs

ATI Eyefinity with the Displayport adaptor seem's the most cost effective way to go triple monitor.

However if your going Multi GPU the Nvidia solution would give the option of 3D vision surround, although the extra layout for the 3D glasses and 3x 120Hz monitors is a lot just for that, doesn't appear ATI have a 3D vision alternative yet but read rumours its not far off.
