What do I need

I have a wireless laptop which does the internet fine, but I want wireless for my desktop. I recently bought bits and with my dad built the computer. I don't want a wire trailing all through my flat to the computer. Is there some sort of PCI wireless card or something that will pick up my router? Or am I stuck to a cable?

You can get PCi or USB wireless cards for about £20.

Any of the adapters in the link below will work, what make and model is your router.

I'm running the Linksys WMP54G in my desktop which I have no complaints.
