What do my O2 Broadband stats look like?

Connected to the test socket as suggested. Old results quoted, new ones below. No errors anymore so my extension is clearly a bit dodgy! Might have to leave it connected to the master and go wireless with the xbox.

Call Your ISP and get put on a 3db noise margin and see what you can get. You should easily be pushing 20mb, My cousin gets 16mb on a 29db line from sky.

exchange code is SLBH.
Sam says I can get O2 8mb when i click the 'compare broadband packages' link.
Hmm, you just on the standard 8mb 'Standard' package?

SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 7.0 / 14.0
Thats still way too high, 6db is default. Thats why your speeds no where near what it should be, like i said earlier. :)

Call your ISP or ticket them to set it to default. I wouldn't go for 3db just yet as it probably gone up due to errors and/or drops, which will be more so on a 3db profile.

Just done a web chat with Natasha at O2 (sexy name)... they changed my settings when they were doing tests on the fault I had a couple of weeks ago and forgot to change them back. You can now see the DSL type has changed and speeds have gone up. SN margin has also changed.

Thats more like it. :)

Your on Annex M (more upload), if you dont need it cancel it as it kills a bit of your DL speed. (I'd loose it as your not seeing an benefit with the stats by the look of it.) ;)

Both personal preference, but if i was you i'd loose Annex M, its only giving you 0.3mb more upload or there abouts.

By all means try 3db, if it unstable tell them to change it back to 6. :)
