What do my O2 Broadband stats look like?

that link doesnt work for me

When it asks for login type:

Username = SuperUser
Password = O2Br0ad64nd

Just looked at this thread myself and tried the 3dB profile. You can do it via O2's online chat in the O2 Assistant program (installed then immediately uninstalled after the chat). Will resync myself in the morning and see what affect it has (if any).

Where did you go to do this??? What do I search?

You need to install the program off the disk that came with your broadband package, the one with the router, cables etc.

There is an online chat option in the program and it lets you talk to someone. Just ask to change down to 3dB and they will do it.

Salamat(Thu Dec 2 22:50:18 UTC 2010)You've started a live chat with O2 customer service. Thanks for getting in touch. I'm Salamat and I'm a real person, not a computer. How can I help?

Salamat(Thu Dec 2 22:50:38 UTC 2010)Hello

optitech-uk(Fri Feb 12 22:50:53 UTC 2010)Hi, is it possible to have my line changed to 3dB profile

Salamat(Thu Dec 2 22:51:18 UTC 2010)Yes I can do that for you.

optitech-uk(Fri Feb 12 22:51:24 UTC 2010)thankyou

Salamat(Thu Dec 2 22:51:45 UTC 2010)May I ask why you wanting that changed to 3db?

optitech-uk(Fri Feb 12 22:52:18 UTC 2010)to check to see if my line can handle slightly faster speeds

Salamat(Thu Dec 2 22:53:56 UTC 2010)Ok. I just need to also make you aware that your line may experience stability issues. So you will have to keep an eye on that and call us back if you need the noise margin increasing.

optitech-uk(Fri Feb 12 22:54:47 UTC 2010)many thanks, I will phone if there is any stability issues so I will keep a check on the stats pages and connection.

Easy as that! lol

so a 1mb increase. let's see if it holds steady over the next few days. :)

if not, you might as well save yourself a couple of quid a month and get the 8mb package.

Any of you guys move from "Be there" to o2?

Currently paying £12.00 with "Be" but wondering is there any benefit to moving as I'm an iPhone customer would only go for the £10 package.......

Is the O2 wireless box II better than the BeBox 585v6 does anyone know?

Sorry to hop in ;)
