Hello All,

That time has come to rebuild. I will be striping the very old monster who back in its hay days "2008" was a very fast machine of some of its components.

Those interested I currently use the XPS 630i from Dell which I built on their site. This monster has done very well until now.

So what do you think about the specification? Machine to be used for a small virtualization lab "VM etc, media/digital painting "Photoshop and gaming.

My budget is £650 so have to cut a few things out but I really don't want too especially with that CPU and MOBO- sweeetttttt. There is no point upgrading and not getting an Ivy bridge.

Any advise would be appreciated

i like the shiney case too^^
tho hm i dont get them hdd bays
why would you want to take 4 out at once
its not like u can put something else there?

The fans are just additions for cooling. That case has 5 fan bays therefore those are extras.

But the case takes 120mm fans, it actually has a decent number of them already fitted.

Why would you want noisy little 80mm fans that buzz like a bunch of bees?
