I think i'm going to get two of these for dual screen setup - what do u think about the NEC monitor?
Should i get two Viewsonic VX2025 over them?

The NEC's are regarded as one of the best 20" widescreens out there. Neither the Viewsonic or 22" screens will offer better performance over it. All current 22" screens use TN panels which offer limited viewing angles and are generally lower quality. Go for the NEC's (or some Dell 2007WFP's, they're also very highly regarded).

The NEC's every time. I have one and couldn't be happier.

I love mine, but some times I think it looks a little too small !

Would love a 24inch or bigger.

Its probably only as tall as your average 19inch or possibly a litter smaller.
I use a Dell 19inch tft at work and it seams taller than my NEC.

My first one had backlight problems but they sorted that out with a replacement. Can be too bright some times but you can use only of the buttons to cycle through the different options with one touch.

Had an NEC 20.1" and loved it, unfortunately I sold it.........................................And got a Dell 24" WS goodness!!

Still think the NEC is a fantastic monitor for colour and gaming though ;)

What panel does the 24" Dell use out of interest?

agreed

the NEC is a brilliant monitor and i love mine, but ithas 2 major flaws.

1) its not very good value for money. But then if you want the best you've got to pay ..

2) its got a reflective screen. Its' no more refective than old CRT screens, and it doesnt bother most of its users, but some people are. On the plus side though, this is the reason why the colours are so bright and vivid on it. Its NEC's version of X Black and it makes the colours look amazing.

The only (i mean ONLY ONLY) thing that put me off this monitor is its design, looks like some very very cheap lcd.I dont like this silver either , have a look at Viewsonic VX2025 - its design is incredible and its BLACK.

What do u think about that - should i ignore it?

Ignore it. The build quality is solid, far from cheap looking! It's much better in the flesh. ;)

Ok nec is out of the line,i'll get viewsonic over it,but one last thing before i make my mind
Viewsonic 22" LCD VX2235
Viewsonic VX2025

22" or 20,1?
Will i find the ressolution on the 22" too stretched?

(i'm just about to buy 2 viewsonic vx2025,thats why i need final answer)

I already ordered two Viewsonics VX2025vm from some place
plus Seasonic M12 700W

CANT stand the design of the nec
so to the guys that say design doesnt matter - here it is,it matters, thats why i didnt get 2 NEC's.
