Great game, melee combat is excellent.

Was great playing as a stealthy assassin, nothing beats sticking a dagger in an orcs neck

How many patches will I need to download in order to get it working correctly?

iirc there was one patch to let you select high quality textures, aside from that it was pretty much bug free.

Yep, have to concur with that, I never had any problems with bugs from start to finish. I'm surprised it didn't get better reviews.

I thought it was an excellent game, it came bundled with my 8800GTX well worth the £15 if thats the cost of it now.

I really did enjoy this game! i havnt completed it yet. I have the problem that the viewing angle kinda makes me feel sick :confused:

I have played most FPS and this has never been a problem to me?? Is this a PC setup or something i need to change??

Blimey, your brothers rig is better than mine! Looks like that 8800GTS is gonna need to happen soon, if I want to play Messiah with decent fps!

thats my rig not his, his is about 2 years old now and barely runs DM or oblivion, hence why he wants to play it on mine

He was round the other day for 6 hours playing Company of heroes, i think he was slightly peeved at the difference in graphics and game play.

I played it twice and there was some nice swordplay with the ability to kick your opponents off of and over cliffs (of which there were a lot) which was cool. Good graphics and some traditional bits like shooting large flying creatures with a massive crossbow which was tedius but compelling at the same time.

On the whole you need a powerful rig and increase your windows pagefile to 6 GB was how I resolved one major crash the game had.
