What do you ask for in the Barbers?

Somewhere in the middle.
Every time I go for a haircut I basically just say "1 round the back and sides and a bit of length on the top to mess up"

Im pretty clueless and as long as it looks reasonable Im content.


What do you ask for? :)
 
I go to the hair sylists and ask for shaved round the sides and back, long on top with a long fringe swept left. I then get the best head massage from a gay and then the sexy fat girl cuts my hair.
 
Short on the back and sides and messy on top, normally a 3. Although at the rate it's forming widow's peaks I'll be buying my own clippers and hitting the whole lot with a 0.5 before long.
 
A jaunty tune.

Then to cut my hair back to above my ears, after 16 visits the two guys and the wife of the bloke who owns the place have got the general idea of what to do.
 
never been to a barbour

been to a few barbers though and i say this. grade 1, 2 or 3 (depending on weather, ie 1 in summer, 2 in spring, 3 in autumn winter) on the back and sides, blended in with scissors to the top of sides and then take the tips off the top.
 
Not been to a barber's for years but when I did, I'd come out with a different haircut every time. Our local hairdresser is only £8 for a cut and the lady that does my hair knows exactly what I want. Actually that may not be the case as she often rubs her humongous tatty bojangles against me whilst doing my hair.

Do you actually look like a hamster then - long hairy coat?

Your 'lady' sounds great - why don't you go more often? I would.
 
12 top unt 4 sides+back.

Used to be 5 sides+back, then I tried shorter and it went 10 with 4, the 12 with 4 is an okay compromise. I get weird headset hair where my headphones pushes in the hair around my ears.

I am quite hirsute so you're not far off the mark :D I go as often as I can but I'm quite lazy when it comes to getting my hair done and sometimes it's a couple of months between cuts. I do look forward to it though but she talks so much, I know more about her and her family than I do about my own :p
