Following a bit of alcohol fueled maths study for tomorrow I started some alcohol fueled computer optimisation (probably not a good idea) when I saw the name for my computer, lappy (as opposed to a name very similar to the camel in a book called Pyramids, by Terry Pratchett, which I often shout at it) and I was just wondering what do people call their computers (ie the name that shows up on a network as opposed to the term shouted at it when it just bsoded for the tenth time in so many minutes) and why?
I'll start
Lappy:
This is my loyal laptop that has stuck with me through multiple bumps, bangs, namecalling, drops from great heights, attempted robberies and tea attacks for the last four years. The name is almost a mix between laptop (because it's a laptop) and lassie (for the loyalty part).
Desktop:
It's called Blue because, well it's blue. It's built in the Antec 900 which seems to be 90% blue glow and 10% dust.
