What do you do after work?

Started my graduate job last September, the 9-5 routine is fairly new to me.

Get up at 6.30
Get to work for 8.30
Normally end up finishing work at 6
Get home for 7
Cook Dinner
Go to the Gym (three times a week), back by 8.30
Watch TV and browse forums on my net book for up to 2 hours
Go to bed

I'll go out Friday night, recover Saturday and do nothing Sunday.

There seriously has to be more to life than this.

Normaly get home have a cuppa and a snack, cook tea, eat, watch tv/read and repeat... Weekends come cleaning the house, shopping, sorting out bills etc.... The fun!

Mate I started my grad job and have almost exactly the same routine. And it messes me up almost exactly the way. I have taken up hobbies, stopped going on the net so much and started reading.

Also everyone has a job and routine, atleast you have a decent job with goals and progress.

Not that I do work as I'm at uni but I may be there some days from 9-6, so I do that, then cycle back, eat something, cycle 6-7 miles to my coaches house, do 12 miles @ 180bpm avg on a turbo trainer then 8 miles back home for 9:30, eat, wash clothes and bed at 12.

When I get in from work I go out and do more work.

Be thankful for your free time.

For most of next week I am 8am-10pm. Good money, poor social life.

Was the same, although we started earlier and finished a bit earlier on most of my placements. Early starts but awesome missing the rush hours.

Spend a lot less time gaming and on the web too. Plenty of other more productive things to be doing.

Get "relaxed", make dinner, walk the dog, eat supper, get in to bed and watch tv till sleep.

Generally speaking.

Get into my pyjamas
Play with the kids
Watch some TV
Go to sleep

...unless I'm away for the week / half-week in Switzerland in which case it's

Pub
Bar
Restaurant
Bar
Casino
Bar/Club
Taxi

Usually until 3-4am, then in the office for 8am the next day. I can handle that for 4 days every month. Just about.
