What do you enjoy about driving?

I'm just on MSN to my mum, shes complaining about having to drive for a 1:45 journey each way tomorrow, as she really dislikes driving. I'm trying to convince her that it is possible to enjoy it, but she's having none of it. So, please tell me why you guys enjoy driving and cars so much.

It's in Ireland, from Ballydehob to Cork City and back. If you can't find ballydehob look for 'Schull' or 'Skibbereen' (1 b or 2 bs, I'm not sure), they're both fairly close.
