What do you get up to on the 27th Dec?

Lad is on his Minecraft, Mrs is building some Minecraft blocks for him and im listening to music.

Off to buy 3 fish later for are new mini tank. Already named my fish, Henry. Lewis's is called Batista, Sarah's is called.... Penelope....

£1 fish?

Bum about the house most of the day, then I'm going to the cinema with a couple of "home dawgs" to see the worlds greatest ever actor Keanu Reeves stab people with swords in 47 Ronin. 2D showing thank you very much, I'm not falling for your gimmicks Hollywood.

Pick up the keys to my new house. Completion was on the 23rd (because some lack-wit held everyone else to ransom) but I wasn't around, so I collect today. Then it will be the traditional follow-up: meter readings, notify utilities etc. I don't actually move until the 8th though - one advantage of being in rented.

I did this when I moved from rented into my first house - it's brilliant being able to move stuff a bit at a time instead of having one massive stressy day of moving.

It's a 3D film marathon for me today!

I'm off till January the 6th and enjoying every single minute of it.

Today I got up at 9am, made coffee, opened my curtains wide and drank coffee in bed watching the wind and rain through the windows.

Sent the missus (such a gentleman) to Waitrose to get some bagels so I can make bacon and egg bagels for lunch.

The rest of the afternoon we'll spent watching movies and drinking wine.

£1 fish?

Pffft, only a 15l or 20l tank that cost me 12 quid. Just gone to the garden centre to buy some fish and come out with 2 50ml bottles of something, a heater and some gravel. £42 and no fish.... Been told i have to leave the tank for a week before getting any fish.

Thought this would be a super cheap option....

Knew i shouldn't of shown them the tropical fish and just gone and bought 3 goldfish instead....

Removals will be done professionally, as I am moving from a 3-bed to a 3-bed, and there's a lot of stuff. Two days to pack, a day to move, and another two days to get it set up. More annoyingly, now the old owners are gone I can see that a lot more decoration will be needed than I thought. Not to mention a lot more holes filled (am I the only person who fills holes when they move out?)

I had expectations of going to the shops and for them not to be so busy.
Some of the stuff they had in the sales in clothes shops was pretty good but only mental sizes left!
Still wouldn't venture out on Boxing Day to grab a bargain though!

Worked 9 til 2. Had lunch and then I've been reading through my s104 books for a Feb start. Oh and maths revision. I suck at maths.
