What do you know 'nothing' about?

Do you ever find yourself in a conversation or reading something and realise you know absolutely bugger all about a subject, in the widest sense of the term?

My knowledge of chemistry and physics is just atrocious. I know the most basic of concepts but my knowledge of space and practical physics / engineering is pretty much zilch. A 10 year old could probably school me about space :o :p

So what do you suck at in life / trivial pursuit? (**** you, brown cheese!!!)

I'm alright at science., history... I'd get schooled at geography I bet. Although comparing my geographical knowledge to some other people I've witnessed.... maybe I'm not that bad.

i find in conversation, that unless someone actually *knows* a topic i can usually bluff my way through better than most people. i caught myself explaining to my housemate why cars use more fuel in the cold recently for example.

Mind you, i have been known to waste entire days on wikipedia, chaining from article to article from the links within

Maths, politics...all sorts of things im bloody clueless at but ill try and learn though....im also clueless when it comes to women but thankfully the woman im with now has the patience to deal with my cluelessness:p

Mortgages and investments. This is the kind of shizzle they should teach you in school, not how to cook a sponge cake.

I know nothing about all that and wouldn't know where to start with it. My Dad showed me his profile the other day and none of it meant anything to me, it also scared me how much investments he had and I don't even have a pension at aged 32. Did start one in my last last job but paid nothing in to it.

Reality TV ... I know the premise of the shows, and some of the judges, and perhaps the presenter .... but couldn't tell you who the contestants are, etc

I feel for geography students. Everyone assumes that geographers must somehow know where every city is in the world, when that's not really what geography is about in the same way that biology is not about knowing the name of every bloody animal :p

Last christmas we were playing the aformentioned trivial pursuit and we landed on the green cheese.

"Oooo Nitefly it's the green cheese! Mr. Biology can't get this wrong"
"Shoot"
"... what is the name... of a baby kangaroo"
".......?! .... uhhhh, a roo?"
"NO! NO that's NOT IT"

At that point my 3 year old cousin looks up from his toy and says 'Joey'.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH he's out smarted you, you know NOTHING! You have a degree and you know less than a THREE YEAR OLD!".

And I'm just sat there scowling going "... I've tinkered with genes and created my own version of a life form... **************!!!"

I really hate that game :D

There's lots of things I'm sure I know nothing about, even parts of history seem to have slipped my mind despite reading about them in school. On the plus side, I do know lots about other stuff I do make an effort to read up sometimes on things I don't know that interest me.

Either way in general nobody can know everything so people are always gonna come up some day with a subject matter that they're clueless with. Some things I have no interest in learning though... Such as the rules of certain sports Eg American Football. :P

I know nothing about politics and science, though science does interest me.

I do however, know loads regarding useless pieces of information, as if I start thinking about something I find interesting, I usually read up on it as it starts annoying me.

My missus says I am a font of useless information. :D

Geography and History. I've been tech-geeking out since I was young and never had any time for them.

I'm like that American stereotype that can't tell you where anything is on a world map.

I know quite a lot of stuff but then again I am still at school.

The problem is that I know a lot of stuff outside of academia, all of it is useless when it comes to exams :(

The only things I don't know about are gardening and stuff about investments.

I know someone who wants to do medicine (gets the grades) but he doesn't know what GP stands for or what a stethoscope is
