I look for the best I can afford, tbh I never think that much about power consumption since I usually make a point of getting a good psu. My main concerns are, these days anyway, cooling and general feeling about the board manufacturer.

edit : Oh yeah, noise, forgot that. Love my X2 but you don't have to turn up the fan that much to hear noise.
