Well, it might not be 100% true. But it's not entirely false either.

Consider this: Many industries benefit greatly from war. As long as these industries can reap the benefits of lobbying and corruption in governments, there will be wars.

Its pretty strange that the war on terror refers to stabilise a country, has had so many of it citizens leave for the west, which I find very weird.

So yes that statement is true, inorder to fight a war you need to muster hate to fight wars better, example they show pictures of women and children to muster hate on both sides, but then again expect posts by fascist liberal politically correct crowds.
BTW The USA have labeled the uk as country of concern.

On a side note, I think you will find almost all wars are over natural resources or land (using religion/cultural differences or ideology as an excuse to invade) - as oil is a natural resource it should hardly be surprising if it turns out it's a key motivator in leading the beating of the war drum.

I wouldn't think it was organised by governments; logistically it's pretty messy to have warfare on your own soil. A lot of money to clean up the mess and to feed the effort.

I can however believe in oil companies paying discreet mercenary bands to escalate certain conflicts; right place right time kind of thing.
