What do you need to do to calibrate your monitor?

I'm not even sure if my monitor can be calibrated. I want to do some colour correction in Adobe Premiere Pro CC and my monitor is an LG 27UK650 but I obviously need to calibrate it first. What do I need to do to make sure I can properly calibrate my monitor?

Does Dell UltraSharps with PremiereColour come with a hardware LUT to help with calibration as I'd quite like to get one?

UP3218K, UP3216Q, UP3214Q, UP3017, U3014, UP2718Q, UP2716D, UP2715K, U2713H, UP2516D, UP2414Q, U2413.

The first two numbers in the model no. are the size and the last two are the year it was released. So the UP3218k is a 32" display releaed in 2018.
