What do you play on your tabletop?

I prefer boardgames over Warhammer and its ilk - mainly as I couldn't afford the figures! I actually have a Rhino (like an APC?) and a squad of Space Marines somewhere - it was all I could afford - I also didn't have the blood red required for Blood Angels and they turned out a horrid crimson colour - since then I've stuck to just watching :D

As it is, I play the Pathfinder RPG once a week with a small group, 4-5 in total, but we don't do much board-gaming - my lot are not really into it as much as me!

I also love the web series TableTop with Wil Wheaton. For those who like board-games, have a look on Youtube :)

Im a regular 40k player but theres any number of board games I want to play but I struggle to convince people to play them. Although a few of us are up for trying the battlestar game out. Just waiting for 2 of them to finish the show off.

I'm a self proclaimed Battlestar Galactica veteran. I love that game, best played with all the expansions and 6 players.

My games consist mainly of stuff featured on Tabletop - an awesome show hosted by Wil Wheaton :)

I've currently got:

Munchkin
Ticket To Ride
Settlers Of Catan
Zombie Dice
Fluxx
Forbidden Island
Cards Against Humanity

Always looking for more, there's a few more that have been on Tabletop that are on the list to get, as well as stuff like Carcassonne, Alhambra, Castle Panic, Pandemic etc.

The main games that I play are:

Settlers of Catan
Carcassonne
Ticket to Ride
Zombicide
Conflict of Heroes
Memoir 44

Whenever I can get enough people to play or set aside a whole day I'll dust off the Axis and Allies box and have a mammoth session on that.

Also trying to get back into 40k and have recently purchase the Flames of War starter set. Just don't get the time or have the motivation to paint the models

My current list (taken from BGG):

Battlestar Galactica
Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition)
Dominion
Earth Reborn
Eclipse
A Game of Thrones: The Board Game (Second Edition)
King of Tokyo & expansion
Letters from Whitechapel
Mage Wars
Mansions of Madness & expansions
Pandemic & first expansion
Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Rise of the Runelords - Base Set
Summoner Wars: Master Set
Twilight Imperium (Third Edition) & Expansions

Also have Edlritch Horror, Cthulhu Wars and Robinson Crusoe on order or Kickstarted

Played Warhammer, 40K & Blood Bowl many years ago (Warhammer 5th & 6th, 40K 2nd Edition & 3rd Edition), enjoyed the game, but hated painting and in the end that pushed me away.

I only got into board gaming about a year ago, mostly through watching Tabletop, now I play regularly on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, and every month or so a weekend day where we can play the longer games (like Arkham Horror, 4+ hours)

My collection consists of:
Settlers of Catan (+ 5-6 player expansion + cities and knights)
Munchkin Deluxe
Gloom
Pirate Fluxx
Discworld: Ankh-Morpork
Ticket To Ride: Europe
Small World: Realms (but not the base game, yet, on the list but can borrow that off a mate when needed :p)

On the Tuesday/weekend sessions the people I play with have a fairly limited selection of games as well, then on Wednesday I play with another group that have a much larger collections so get to play some games I otherwise might not 'risk' buying, or even can't find anymore.

As Battlestar was mentioned, played the base game a few times now, I do enjoy it but I swear it's impossible for the Humans to win. I hear the expansions alter the balance a bit?

Oh yeah, Dreadball, not really played that kinda game before, but occasionally prod a mate who's shown an interest in it, one day he'll buy it and I'll give it a go :p

Discworld: Ankh-Morpork

What's that like? I love the books :)

I like the look of Dreadball too. It's meant play faster than Blood Bowl, which was great, but for some reason died out at all the local GW stores. Bloody philistines! My problem would be finding someone else near by to play.

Only played it 3 times so far (2 days) and both times with 3 players.

Overall I do like it, think I could come to really like it after playing a few more times but already thinking of a 'house rule' to remove one or two of the role cards, there are 3 identical ones out of 7 possible which I think is too much for a 3 player game.

The artwork is really nice, I wish you could still get the collectors/deluxe edition which does some nice stuff like remove any 8's from the dice/board/cards.

The gameplay is good from what I've found so far, quite nice trying to figure out what roles others have, and potentially trying to lead them astray as to what you have. Not sure if any are more overpowered than the rest, don't seem to be as from the 3 games so far 3 different roles won.

Going back to the theme, as said the artwork is good and it's kinda neat to see people like Captain Carrot and 'CMOT' Dibbler, and DEATH of course, but it's not as linked to the books as I feel it could be. On the other hand none of the rest of the group I regularly play with are cultured enough to read books so it's good that the link to the books is 'light'.

But yeah, mini-review over, do like it and planning to get Witches and Guards Guards in the soon-ish future :)

Guards! Guards! is not the same as the book. You still have to negotiate the dragons (yes, plural) if they are summoned but you don't play as The Watch, you play as a Guild and you can stop other players from winning.

I like the game a lot, takes a few hours to play mind.

Ankh Morpork is good (not my preferred choice though)
The Witches is suited more towards family with younger children as its simple to learn.

The artwork is very good, might ask one of the artists for some proofs this weekend ;)

On another note, we have about 7ft of games here, many of the above included.

Shadows over Camelot is probably my favourite
