What do you prefer? 3D or 3 Monitor gaming?

I have not done either but I would like to try using 3 monitors at some point I just need a huge desk to fit them all on lmao!

Stoner81.

3D for me. I don't have the room for a 3 monitor set up, also the bezels would annoy me :P

I downgraded from a 24" 60hz to a 23" 120hz which was only £170 del. I may get a 27" 1080p when they become cheap enough, but the 23" will satisfy me for now.

3D gaming is nice, I mainly play RTS and MMO. Also being able to watch 3D movies is a bonus too.

where did you get a 3D monitor for so cheap???

For gaming I would take 3D and for desktop use multiscreen - that's if they were free of course... neither are worth it though imo, I'd rather buy a single high quality/resolution monitor than waste money on either.

Neither. 3D was cool, but ended up unused at the side of my monitor. 3 screens was good for work with the three monitors (23" Dells) in portrait, but for gaming, only simulators/racing benefited in my opinion, so it wasn't worth the performance hit, plus it took up far too much room. So I ended up with a 30" 2560x1600 monitor and I couldn't be happier. :D

3D is awsome and is well worth going for

Why not get 3 monitors (one being a 120hz monitor)then run then in surround / eyefinity etc and then just use the one for 3d as and when needed

the glasses are fine to wear as well

Only 3 x 19", but had it for 4 year.

neither.

single large monitor, zero compatibility issues. EVERYTHING is bigger, not just games.

3D monitor would depend heavily on whether the game have good 3D support. 3 monitor would also depend on game support and when you get out of the game, you always have to set your windows setting back to separate screens, otherwise you will maximise your internet browser across all 3 screens.

realy you need to go try 3D out for yourself otherwise you will only go on what peoples opinions (there is a lot of negatives for 3d and personally i dont game withought it now)

But it might not be for you so go to a store and try it out first if you can

Eyefinity to normal extended mode is just a press of a button or a mouse click.
