What do you put for marital status on a CV if you not married..

I've been updating the old CV but putting 'live with partner' makes me sound gay!

It doesn't matter. Technically gender, age and marital status don't need to be on there

can help with getting jobs in IT obviously it's technically a bit dodgy but most IT companies would prefer to employ un-married men with no children as it's much easier to take advantage of them in terms of working hours and on call work etc.
