i.e. what's been the best to date in terms of value for money and longevity.
For my money its been the opteron 170 and the Q6600 which I am still running now with no real need for an upgrade as of yet.
ramped up to 3Ghz with a decent OS behind it and it just cuts through what ever I want it to do. I used to be an Intel hater... This one changed my mind.
