Bioshock
I played about 30 minutes of BioShock and thought it was boring as hell?
Arma 3 clearly isn't going to be as good as Arma 2, a game that came out years and years ago and isn't in Alpha...
Don't think I've played a new game this year I've really loved. Still plenty to come though.

Have heard BioShock is on rails - if so by what degree?
Why are you asking someone who played it for 30 minutes and found it boring?
It isn't on rails, it isn't a free-roam game by any stretch, but there are place to explore, and different styles to play.
What I played of it seemed so, however I didn't really get far enough for it to open up... The combat is just boring as hell and you have to spend too much time picking up apples.

I've enjoyed (or am currently enjoying) quite a few releases this year so far: DmC was bloody good considering I abandoned DMC4 half-way through the first mission out of getting frustrated and bored with the combat and camera; Tomb Raider was brilliant; the SCII HotS campaign was fantastic; and BioShock Infinite, so far at least, is living up to the hype.
I honestly couldn't say which game I've preferred playing as they're all so different, but it has certainly been a good Q1 for gaming.

haah it will on my pc. i played arma 3 then uninstalled and it wont be reinstalled either its terribad. unlike bioshock infinite which is one of best games i played in years.
