when my sisters horse had an infection in his foot and she cleaned all the nastyness and puss from it she put it in the bin and it was easily the foulest thing i have ever smelt. a small girl near the bin got a waft of it and retched

Good smells can be bad to you know! I once spilled an entire bottle of expensive aftershave on my carpet. The strength and sheer volume of the oddur stank my room for months of the nicely smelling carp that it made me feel sick all the time.
When I was at school we once had a lesson on Roman Food. We managed to leave a load of the food ina box over the summer holiday on top of a cupboard, and only found it when we returned. Being 12/13 year old boys we decided to feed what affectionately became known as the 'salad' with milk, orange juice, biscuits, food form lunch etc. After another month this decomposing pile of food would completely stink the room out when we borught it down. That was the worst smelling thing ever.

Nothing can beat the smell that I met this morning coming into the lab, someone had spilt Butyric Acid.
The heady smell is a combo of vomit,cat pee, and rancid butter and it does not wash off things easily.
All windows are open and all the air con. units are at full strength.
