What do you think of 'Banksy'?

As far as I know he hasn't been arrested yet but the police probably could find that out without too much bother.

Which makes vandalism laws meaningless. In a similar way to Humza Yousaf and JK Rowling not being arrested for hate crime laws in Scotland.

Time to drop the pretence of laws being uniformly applied, when they are really just discretionary constructs designed to convict political opponents or low status plebs.

Tongue in cheek but obviously it happens a lot so...
For it to be a crime, the owner of the property that's "defaced" would have to make a complaint. As banksy "graffiti" increases the value of the piece of property he "defaces", the owner of said property is very unlikely to make a complaint and so in effect is granting retrospective permission to have carried out the "artwork".

So yeah if someone complains then it is a crime, which isn't ok, but the fact that it does then make other people money in effect makes it not a crime.
