it's about £500 a week down here. still a huge amount considering the poor care recieved.

My grandad lives in a care home, He doesnt have cold food, he cooks his own. He goes to his local at 20:30 so no 7pm lights off. He has his own shower and i'm pretty sure he doesnt even have 2 showers a week lol (Jokes) and his rooms (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and front room) are bigger than a cell. He pays £28 per week, He pays his own water and tv licence.

Hope this clears a few things up

I hate to break this to you but £4000 isn't especially expensive for care. My other half's Nan is paying £3600 (£900 a week) for a very average care home in Berkshire.
