nonsense, the corsair is an excellent psu.
sure, you end up with a ton of extra cables, but you can always shove them in the 5.25 bays. :D

Exactly; not sure why people always recommend modular over captive cables. I guess it helps in a really small case but with a tower you've got loads of space in the drive bays and if you have a reasonably high end system you're likely to be using most of the cables anyway. I know I am.
