What do you think of WD My Book external HDDs?

Have Western Digital drives been reliable for you guys?

I've always been with samsung so i dont know what to think of WD

And how are these drives in general? thinking of going for 320 or 500

i think i've got firewire 800 on my laptop, maybe, but i dont think i can justify spending £30 or whatever it is extra on it , usb2 seems fast enough, since its only for media
