I still can't make my mind up as I'm really hesitant to overclocking. I don't have much experience and the last CPU I overclocked (sempron 2400+) decided to smoke out my bedroom! I may just go with the AMD X2.

Even at stock the Conroe will be a great chip. We were all once overclocking novices once. Take heart.

Overclocking a Conroe is easy!

As long as your temps are within safety then you can't possibly kill your chip!
