Possible Poll?

Trying to decide if there's anything better to use for ipod syncing than iTunes.

I used to use windows media player 10 before I got my ipod. Of course now WMP11 had ipod support and I've just found out that winamp does too.

Discuss :)

Used to use Winamp and some Monkey program (can't remember the name) now use iTunes, hated it at first but love it now :)

Itunes I really good, I did hate it. But it's so much easier to sync the ipod with instead of winamp. Plus it's nice having all the music in one place. Plus I download podcasts and video podcasts too.

Winamp and the ml_iPod plugin OR iTunes. Why iTunes? Well Winamp seems to be miscounting my songs, saying there are x songs in my library but seems to miss off about 30 odd songs from my Various Artists list for some reason. Using iTunes to see if its Winamp or the iPod getting confused.

I always use Winamp for it, hate iTunes so much.

Same here. The ml_ipod plugin adds some nice functionality.

Only thing I use iTunes for is keeping the iPod firmware up-to-date. Wish there was a way to avoid having to even have it in the first place.

Unpack the iTunes installer with WinRar or 7Zip or the like. You should find a Software Update.exe. Thats what you need for the iPod firmware update so just run that and you'll have the ability to check for new iPod firmwares but without iTunes.
