What do you use the dashboard for?

I have Weather gadget, loads of sticky notes, iStatMenus and a Lorem Ipsum gadget I can't remember the name of. All very useful. :)
 
Lots of sticky notes, iStat, Weather thingy, converter thingy and something else which I can't quite remember right now :(
 
Weather and clocks. I've a couple of clocks open with different time zones. Australia for my brother so I know not to call him in the dead of night. Tokyo for friends out there and the same reason as my brother. Cupertino so I know what time Apple announcements and the like will be at and finally East coast time for shuttle launches and things.
 
Calculator, iStat, Refurb me (tells me when the Refurb store has been updated), Events at my local Apple store (not that I really use it), a bpm counter, currency converter etc.
 
Calculator, iStat and Word of the Day. I rarely use it tbh as I read somewhere it impacts system performance a tad.
 
I have istat, calculator, stick notes, weather, clock and a battery gauge monitor for my mouse, keyboard and trackpad. Quite useful I think!
 
Weather both here and back home. Also use iStat. :)

I find it much better than Windows gadgets, I prefer an overlay to always sitting behind everything.
 
I very rarely use it - I have iStat on it and I use the calculator every so often :p

Other than that I do see it as a bit pointless :p

Just press cmd+space to open spotlight and them type in the sum you want.

Answer is the top hit.

Despite using the above method 100% of the time i still have a calculator on my dashboard :/
