What do you use the dashboard for?

Just press cmd+space to open spotlight and them type in the sum you want.

Answer is the top hit.

Despite using the above method 100% of the time i still have a calculator on my dashboard :/

NICE! That's an awesome little trick. Should stick it in the "tips and tricks" thread that's knocking around somewhere :D

I use calculator, calendar, world clock (london, chicago, toronto), weather, stickies, dictionary and the garfield comic strip!!!

Heh, I've known that shortcut for a while. Spotlight shortcut is great, use it for so many things :)

However, in my dashboard just calculator and sticky notes tbh - that really is about it, very very handy for making quick notes :)

Mainly check it for iStat, but occasionally use the Calculator and Currency converter as well. Like my XBOX live widgets as well :)

I occasionally press my dash key to bring up the calculator but that's about it. I think I might start downloading some widgets and using it a little more though. When my phone is usually within arms length I find most of the things that would be in the dashboard are on that anyway. Apart from things like CPU, GPU and RAM usage but I haven't encountered a time using my MacBook where I'd need to know any of those things.

In order to save starting a new thread, does anyone know of a clock gadget that almost fills the screen, IE 900x600 or resizable so I can read the time while 6ft+ away?
