What do you want from a Clan Website?

Message box, Forum, Members list, Server details, news. Nothing else.
Keep it simple. Sites that bombard you with toolbars, widgets and hundreds of pages are awful for a person that's not visited before.
Steer clear of these pre-packaged community frameworks. Skip filling the backgrounds with images from games too. Usability first.

loads of simple to well designed clan themes about for not much it really isnt worth making your own.
most have everything you already need in them
decent hosting is what id be worried about. some sites for clans are slowwwwww and the guy who mentioned tfu ive been on there and its took over a minute to load front pg sometimes
