what does oem mean?

as far as i know isnt it a 3rd paty manufacture making parts on behalf of the company?

like these cpu's

that oem but you get 2 years less warranity than a normal 4790k for £10 less, am i missing something?

I just know they are cheaper but come with less warranty and no cooler/box,sometimes they have been tested/binned by pc builders/shops looking for good clockers and are sold as oem
