What does S stand for?

with phones it's usually Speed (The iPhone 3GS and 4S it specifically means Speed)

With cars its usually Sport

RS - Rally Spec/Racing spec/Rally Sport
GT - Gran Tourismo,
HDi - High pressure Diesel/Direct Injection
GTi - Gran tourismo, injected (apparently)
DT - Diesel Turbo

You are right in fact. Seems Gran Tourismo is Italian for Grand Tourer

It’s ”Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” but they used “S” because it can't fit on phones.
