What does the inside of your computer smell of?

I was working with an old HP computer today, opened it up and the dust and all the random shizznits smelled of hot crossed buns.

I was a really sweet smelling glaze style smell. T'was nice.

When i got a 2nd hand benq monitor, the dust was really sweet smelling and i hated the smell, made me feel a bit sick.

If anyone is informed in the science of dust your opinion would be greatly accepted.

Does anyone else's computers smell of strange things?

Dust is made of human skin particles (mostly).

The inside of PCs and monitors are hot.

Therefore, you are smelling cooked human :eek:

And you like the smell!

Well, i only liked one of the smells, depends on the human i suppose. But i think i've got a new hobby of going around sniffing computers.

I once fixed someones computer and when i opened it, I actually had to control my gagging. As it was awful.

It just smelt like scruffy people

Mine doesn't smell of anything in particular....there is no perceptible smell.
