Translator doesn't recognise it... There should be an oumlaut thingy over the o.

How about Wahrung? An online translator rekoned it meant protection... Basically I am sending some receipts to South Africa but all the instructions are in German (if context helps)

IIRC
If it has umlauts over the A it's currency, if it's a plain A it's protection/safeguarding
