I'm familiar with the "you can claim £3000 for your recent accident"-type texts, I don't know what's this is all about. I still suspect spam but the 'call 123' bit throws me because that makes it sound like an operator number, and yes, the text does contain character returns. I'm on Orange. I don't know what fidelity means in this context, but in audio playback, it means a clearer sound.

to listen to email call 123

Cheers guys.

Fidelity is a investment management company which the scam is trying to play off.

However, how would that work? Like you said 123 is nonsense and [anything]@fidelity.com will go to their servers.

There is a company called Fidelity Funds/Investments but since you don't know what the company is you clearly don't have any investments with them. Delete the message or ignore it as spam, whatever you want to do but there's no point in responding to it since it's not applicable to you.

Thanks guys :-) Looks like it's on a similar vein to the PPI spam that's going around too. It struck me as weird that they had '123' in the message, considering that Orange customer service is 150 and I guess people would have fallen for that.

Edit: don't know if it's relevant, but the sender number was 5850.

I think it's genuine using orange's push email service. Went to you in error.

You could listen to see it and see if it sounds like a scam. Might have actual details through which they can scam you.
