The signature's actually don't take up any more space than the avatar + user information at the left side of your screen :)

mines says I like planes.....

and for those that care that is the first powered aircraft that I flew solo, so it holds a little place in my heart.
 
Mine is to remind me what Brighton is like on a very random night out which will never happen again.

To me it just sums what life used to be like there for me :)
