What DPI do you game at

I've got a Creative Fatality Mouse which I use at 1600dpi at all times which is great going across a 24inch and a 22inch screen.

However, when I'm gaming in cod4, whenever I'm sniping I have a little button on the top to change the dpi and bring it down to the lowest setting. Other than that tho in every fps I game at the max dpi of my mouse.

If you're finding it difficult, then build up the dpi. You'll soon get used to the extra speed :)

Are you a palm twitcher (like me) or do you drag the mouse with your whole arm? I got something like repetitive strain injury in my shoulder so I 99.9% of the time my palm is planted and the mouse moves with wrist action only!
 
I always thought that higher dpi ment fps games felt smoother to play. Could someone try 800 and a higher dpi and tell me if it feels any smoother to play, (not faster)

I thought that was the reason you had the mouse smoothing option in games, for low dpi mice??
 
Ergo 525 at 2000dpi, suits me, though when my mate uses it he always turns it down cos 2000 weirds him out,
